Bern - the capital of Switzerland - has a very special vibe. The historic centre is very pretty. The clock tower (Zytglogge) is definitely one of the best-known landmarks. And a visit to the parliament building, the bear park, or a climb to the top of the tower of the Muenster are other highlights. You could also go for a swim in the river Aare which was voted by CNN in 2020 as the world's best place for swimming!
