Staying at the hotel Kurhaus Cademario is a highlight. From the hotel and from the gourmet restaurant you can take in the beautiful view to the south to Lago di Lugano and Italy and to the east to Lugano. In addition, there's a short but very nice walk through a forest up to the chapel of San Bernardo. The view is to the east to Lago di Maggiore and the majestic highest mountains of Switzerland in the background. Another perfect lookout.
