Not far away from Interlaken a cable-car takes you up to the top of the Niederhorn. From there you can enjoy a spectacular ridge walk with fantastic views of lake Thun and a full panorama of the Bernese Alps. At the top, there is a great chance to see chamois or ibex since there's a hunting ban in this area and the animals aren’t scared of humans.
