As green as it gets

 

The Oeschinensee is definitely one or maybe even the prettiest mountain lake in Switzerland. The steep walls of the Blüemlisalp range and the unbelievable green colour of the water is truly spectacular. There's a very popular hike with many beautiful vistas but beware: this is an extremely popular day trip destination. We recommend going off-season.
