Queen of the Swiss Alps

Rigi is locally known as the Queen of the Swiss Alps: It’s not a cheap ride to the top and it’s a very popular spot as well, but it is well worth a visit. When we were there, we stayed at the Hotel Rigi Kulm with our dog, Mungo. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant, and once all the day tourists were gone, we were able to enjoy a peaceful sunset. In the middle of a clear night you can enjoy taking some great shots of the Milky Way. By staying overnight you can be up early for the sunrise too.
