Stunning walk amongst Alpine rose bushes

 

Close to Ilanz is a hidden valley leading to Vals where lovers of architecture should visit the thermal bath. For us though, it’s the Zervreilahorn – the Matterhorn of Graubünden – and the Lake Zervreila that made our trip really amazing. We walked from the chapel at the top of the beautiful turquoise lake to the Lampertschalp and enjoyed lunch in a deck chair at a beautiful little alpine hut. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful with many waterfalls that create the Valser Rhein river.
